Android O: features, Release date and changes

Hey guys! we are back with update about android O. Android Oreo is officially launched on 21st august 2017. Android O is Smarter, faster, more powerful and sweeter than ever. The over-the-air (OTA) update began rolling out immediately to supported Pixel and Nexus devices and factory images were posted on the Android Developers’ site the same day.

Android 8.0 Oreo looks and feels just like the final developer preview 4, so if you’ve been following the progress of the developer previews here, you’ll know most of what’s in store. We’ve begun our full Android Oreo review but in the meantime, here are all the new changes, features and things you should know about Android Oreo.

Android O release date-:

The fourth and final preview arrived in mid-July, right on schedule. The public version of Android 8.0 was out for supported Pixel, Nexus and Android One devices starting August 21.

Performance and bug fixes

A lot of early adopters have noted several performance improvements and bug fixes in the final dev preview. The battery drain issue that put a lot of folks off the third developer preview seems to have been corrected and the camera launch delay has also been fixed. Multiple other improvements have been mentioned around the inter webs, so hit the comments and share yours if you’ve noted anything in particular

New system app icon

In Android O system implemented with new and updated icon pack, which looks little more beautiful that oldest versions.

List of smartphones which will get official Android O update-:

Pixel, Nexus devices

Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player and Pixel C tablet were already eligible for the Android O public beta program

Nokia smartphones

Google’s list mentions HMD Global, which is now manufacturing and selling Nokia branded smartphones. HMD Global at the launch of Nokia 8 announced this will be one of the first phones to get Android O.

One plus has confirmed Android O update for OnePlus 3 , OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 5 smartphones.

Samsung has also confirmed Android O update for S8, S8+ ,S7 series as well as new galaxy note 8 too.
